“Dr Monica is amazing!! After my dachshund’s second back surgery, I decided to give acupuncture a try. Doctor Monica came to the house. She was nothing but kind, understanding and knowledgeable. She was dedicated and masterful in her treatment of my difficult dog!! I highly recommend her!”
“I adopted my French Bulldog, Bodhi about 2.5 years ago. He is almost 6 now. The previous owner didn’t tell me that Bodhi has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease); a degenerative spinal disease that can cause pain and loss of mobility. This was devastating when Bodhi had a flare up which caused significant pain and loss of function in both his front and hind legs rendering him completely immobile.
My vet initially recommended steroids, pain medication, and to crate Bodhi 24 hours a day. There was no improvement after 2.5 months. Bodhi was still completely immobile and getting worse. I was told the outcome for him wasn’t good, there was minimal chance he would walk again, and I should consider putting him down. I was desperate and losing hope. Then I was recommended to Dr. Monica for acupuncture. After 4 appointments, Bodhi’s condition began to improve, and he started walking again. Granted he would stumble and fall often but it was progress!
We continued acupuncture for a couple more visits and now Bodhi is running and can even jump on the couch. I can’t thank Dr. Monica enough! She was amazing with Bodhi and brought hope and life back into our lives. Hopefully Bodhi will continue to do well, but if he does have another flare up, I will call Dr. Monica to start treatments again!”
“My Pug had 2 back surgeries in a 3 month period and experienced severe ataxia in her hind limbs. For the last 4 months, Dr Monica has been treating her to help with mobility and nerve regeneration and we continue to see improvements every time. It has been so helpful to have the treatments done in my home because my dog is super anxious when it comes to going to the vet.
Dr Monica has a true gift in alternative medicine for our furry babies. Not only are the treatments helping, my dog loves her!”
“When my sweet golden retriever Rosie was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma, a highly aggressive cancer, I immediately sought out alternatives to chemotherapy. I reached out to Dr. Monica who provided me with a holistic, integrative treatment plan for Rosie’s condition.
The Chinese herbal supplements and the food recommendations prolonged a good quality of life for Rosie in her remaining months. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Monica for her professionalism, expertise, thoughtfulness and compassion during Rosie’s illness.”
“Dr. Monica is a professional, caring, and warm-hearted vet who loves your pet companions as much as you do. She has taken care of four of our senior rescues over the years and has helped them tremendously with a variety of issues. Highly recommend!”
“Dr Monica with Pet Acupuncture & Wellness (Paws) has been so helpful to our 12 year old Labador Hank. Shes been treating him for over a year and we have seen significant improvement after every session. Hank has muscle loss and tumors in his older age plus arthritis. At first i wasnt sure how he would react to the needles, but he doesn’t flinch. He does like to try and remove them, but once the session starts he settles right down and relaxes.
Being that he is such a large dog the in-house acupuncture is extremely helpful as its hard to get him in/out of the car. Plus, Dr. Monica is just so gentle with him and you can tell he adores her for that. We can’t thank her enough for all she has done for us!”
“My wife’s heart dog, Diesel, has intervertebral disc disease type II. We noticed a shift in his very good natured and neutral personality and quickly realized, after some testing, that he was in significant pain. Dr. Monica assessed him and immediately started treatments. Fortunately, he had a very positive response to acupuncture. He is so happy to see Dr. Monica and becomes a bouncy, playful, and more vibrant boy post treatment. Thank you, Dr. Monica, for giving our boy relief so he can be his happy goofy and loving self.”
